I only used the playground with my four year old niece and two year old nephew. (My only nephew. Cute!) But I waited in my car at the tennis courts area. The people there all looked like they were having a blast. And all the courts looked like they were in great condition and no waiting. The grass around everywhere was nicely cut and there were no bugs and I didn’t notice any ants although there was some red mud around the awesome new fences surrounding the playground. And, don’t worry about your kid getting out unattended. The fence is high and the gate is difficult. Although, you just press and lift. But no really short person is going to do it. I took my niece to the bathroom. The women’s bathroom was very nice and clean with lots of tissue. There was a little place that sold drinks and hot dogs. I read that but it wasn’t open. I’m sorry I didn’t get the hours. I had to go! I’m an aunt. I’m more cautious sometimes than my sisters. I don’t want them mad at me. My sister did say it is open sometimes. The playground was awesome. Lots of slides for the kids and me. Oh my gosh, climbed a ladder, slide down some slides and I can still walk today. And neither I nor my niece fell when I...
Read moreIt's a great park with great facility, playgrounds, ball fields ,open field ,paved paths and nice Bridges. I used to go here a lot when it first opened it had one of the most challenging disc golf courses around but now they have houses going in at the back of the property of the park and it messed up the 13th hole so the course is incomplete now it has a tee pad and no basket and the 14th hole has a makeshift tee pad in the dirt so if you're playing the course when you play the 12th hole just walk right up the hill towards the new houses and you'll find the makeshift 14th tee pad so everyone should SKIP the 13th hole it saves you a walk down the hill. This is a perfect opportunity to fix the 13th hole and 14 Tee Box mishap from the first design "you'll know what I mean if you walk down the hill and find the 13th tee pad" I think when it finally get fixed it will be one of the best disc golf courses and should be the part of...
Read moreWe had a great day at the park. It's very close to the house and it's the first time we went disc golfing as a whole family. We were hoping it would be easy to get a stroller up and down through the course, although expecting it wouldn't, honestly it wasn't. If you have a good off-road stroller you should be fine. He wasn't in it the whole time so it made it a lot easier to drag it up and down.
The park itself is beautiful. It offers baseball and softball fields, tennis courts that look brand new, a dog park, and an agility training area sponsored by the local K-9 police. The only thing that could improve it is the signage for the disc golf course. It's very difficult to figure out which trail leads to the next hole. We spent most of our time lost but the course was fun.
We will definitely be back. There's a great black top path around most of the whole park, just not...
