Deep River Camelback Bridge — Attraction in North Carolina

A beautiful area with a touch of history and a good, peaceful dose of Nature. My brother and I visited early afternoon on the last Monday of July, and there were a couple people fishing along the shore of the Deep River, and a few enjoying other areas of the park. Great place for photos! There is some playground equipment on the level that some have in their backyard. The bridge has an interesting history that is not mentioned anywhere on the property -- it was actually relocated after a span of the multi-span truss bridge collapsed in Lillington NC in the early 1930s. This park has a porta potty for use ,it has picnic table & grills for use., Grass was cut & needs to be treated for insects , swing set was not in the best of shape kids played on it anyway.
