Incredible natural beauty, relatively easy trail to reach the waterfall vantage points (*though there are many steep steps as well as a couple tricky spots to navigate), basic restroom facilities, reasonable allowance for visitor parking, well-marked paths, generally unspoiled wildlands to marvel over and photograph and nostalgically reminisce about over the years to follow the experience.
A great family outing/bonding opportunity with the potentiality of turning into a happy formative memory around which children may build a solid sense of familial identity & inclusion, individual importance, and personal esteem & self-worth.
An intimate and romantic place for partners to connect with each other as well as making a deeply felt connection with the breathtaking splendor and abundance of nature which defines and delineates the region as a whole.
There are plenty of other lovely spots to enjoy along the first half of the path leading to the rough rock staircase whose descent parallels the waterfall itself - for those uninterested in or unable to make the trip to the bottom of the path. There is an abundance of slowly/languorously meandering creeks, cautious wildlife, towering trees of great variety, flowering plants, etc and et alia to gaze upon without any need for traversing the entirety of the trail.
What a wonderful experience.
Highly recommended, and certainly worth the trip and...
Read moreNice property. Aged, yet clean. Has restrooms at entrance to trail. A perfect smaller hike on an obvious path. The trees provide shade along the way. A tree stump bridge each direction. Wife and I aren't in great shape but love the outdoors. It got a little challenging near the bottom as some stairs can be rough. But it was manageable. The sounds and views at the bottom made it all worth it. Pics from other users are accurate so I'm not going to attach repeats.
I would not recommend this trail for anyone in a wheelchair or needing to use a walker due to small stumps and rocks to step over along the regular portion. The bottom waterfall observation areas are accessed by old stone stairways with some steep steps and an unreliable railing. I would recommend a walking/hiking stick for anyone with mobility issues. If you're more of a hardcore hiker, someone created a way under the railing from lower observation area to get...

Trail is short at about .25 miles one way to the end beside the falls. It is probably moderate with the steps near the falls and may be difficult for really young children. Most of the trail is wide and sand to gravel. Follows along a creek and has one bridge to cross. A lot of the trail is a section of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.
The falls has two viewing areas with one basically above it and the end of the trail being the last viewing area. The latter is about halfway down the length of the falls. The falls is beautiful.
This is a heavier trafficked trail and great for families due to it short length and relative ease. The parking area probably has 50 spots, bathrooms, trash/recycling cans, and picnic tables out the wazoo. Directly off the Blue...
