A little expensive on the gate but we had a really good time! The bits of history and simple living from back when the country was different were so inspiring and calming. There is definitely something for everyone at the Country Christmas Train and all the lights, crafts, and food. It was especially nice to be able to talk with the people who made the food and crafts and hear their stories. I appreciate that the whole event was family and Christ centered but without judgement or exclusion. The way of the Cross leads home, but if you choose not to follow them you are still invited to see and hear and decide. The train cars were meticulously crafted of real wood and were heated and very cozy on a cold evening. Tried a really good thick sliced fried bologna sandwich and that was a real treat!
