We did the night maze yesterday (first time ever being here) & our group of three (1 adult, 2 teens) nailed it in 49 minutes. We navigated our way through the maze using the app for a general idea of where to go but mostly just navigated our way on our own. Make sure to watch the orientation video prior to arrival or you will have to when you check in. If doing the night maze, make sure to bring your OWN flashlight. We did not know this so fortunately we completed the maze before it got completely dark. I wish we didn’t have to carry the oversized, bulky flag you are required to carry to wave in the air if you need help.. but all in all. It was very well put together. Sadly people step on their taped-off areas so you stay on the paths and these areas don’t get taped back up, so you see a lot of people cheat.. which is whatever as we minded our own business & stayed true to the path as we wanted to see how long it would take us to do it the right way. Good luck & enjoy! Nothing is perfect but these people clearly put a lot of...

I had heard a lot of good things about Rural Hills Corn Maze. Granted 2020 has not been anyone’s year, there weren’t any vendors, any food/beverage items like I’d hoped. They did had a small basket with gas station like refreshments. I bought a nature valley oats and honey bar. No bottled water so bring your own. This maze took my boyfriend and his 12 year old son 3:15 to complete. Yes over 3 hours! (That was without any cut throughs) There was a fall. (In a muddy area). & yes their were fire ant hills. But it’s outside so that’s kind of to be expected. On top of everything a man that worked at the maze gave us what he considered good information, tips if you will. These turned out to literally all be incorrect & felt super frustrating & more like sabotage than help. LOL! Overall we completed the maze, we did it as a family. We have a story. Not the “Amazing Maze” but this year what more can you ask for? Ohhhhh, also my advice is to NOT use their app. It actually made it more...

My friends and I were in town for the weekend and really loved the Amazing Maize Maze! It was huge, well thought-out, and just a really enjoyable time with lots of laughter, wrong turns, and admittedly some cold hands and frustration when we picked the wrong direction multiple times in a row. Lol. Definitely bring a flashlight and comfortable shoes, and maybe some gloves along with your jacket - and prepare to keep your eyes open for the right path, because it might be really narrow! It was an excellent experience, and if we lived closer, we'd be back. It makes it even better that the proceeds go to something wonderful. What a nice time!

Note: If your GPS takes you to a closed gate at first, don't lose heart. This happened to us, and we continued on that same road a little bit until we saw the actual entrance on the right. Tons of parking was available, and we could see food trucks and a fun wedding going on with lots of...

Historic Rural Hill in Huntersville, NC 🌾 We loved exploring this 265-acre working farm full of Charlotte history. The trails were peaceful and easy, the owner even gave us a peek inside one of the old homes with no water or power — it truly feels like stepping back in time. They host the Sheepdog Trials (Nov 15–16), a corn maze, and the Scottish Festival. A perfect calm spot to explore when you want something slower paced with the kids. 🐑 #thingstodoincharlotte #charlottenc #huntersvillenc #cltadventures #familyfuncharlotte
