My visit provided me not only with a few bottles, but a very memorable experience, and I will definitely return, bringing other friends along to enjoy.

Wine 3/5: Both vinifera and muscadines, including a blend of Merlot and Muscadine (Very Berry) which was unique and very tasty. All grapes grown on property...I think, the muscadines are excellent.

Tour 5/5: Show entire (though small) process, they take you through grounds, makes a memorable experience.

Owners/workers 4.5/5: Family and tour giver makes you feel right at home. Had one off-putting experience with a worker, who just did not seem to know about wine.

Property/Views: 5/5: STUNNING! Back outdoor porch overlooks the Uwharrie Mountain Ranges, Morrow Mountain State Park and Badin Lake. Very large inside seating and grand windows to look out too.

Ultimately? 4.375/5 Drive-worthy? Yes. Make a day trip out of it and go to nearby Morrow Mountain or Badin Lake for hiking and boating. Pack a picnic, bring friends and enjoy the beautiful views...

We had my daughter’s wedding at the vineyard and it was beautiful. The space is perfect for the ceremony outside with a beautiful mountain background, and plenty of room for the reception indoors. There is a private room for the bride. They were very good to work with. The only negative thing we experienced, which is the reason for 4 stars, is the back-to-back booking with a birthday party in the space that was there until 6:00. We got mixed up between a 6/6:30 start time, but even with a 6:30 wedding, having a booked party there with that many people when you have guests, family, bridal party, and vendors arriving was very stressful. There was nowhere to park, and vendors had a difficult time setting up. It is open to the public until 6:00, but other parties should end at least an hour before when a wedding is booked. I do hope they will make that change for...

We first visited Stony Mountain Vineyard in 2018. The great staff, delicious wines, and beautiful views brought us back. We’ve been several times since then. When we decided to get married, I brought my maid of honor out to get information. When we decided on a date, called and found out it was available! We couldn’t get out fast enough to put down the deposit! Anyone that has planned their own wedding knows how daunting it can be. Laura answered questions that we didn’t even realize we needed to ask! Great area for the caterer to do their thing, plenty of space for everyone, when The Big day arrived, Laura and Sheena were there to help us with whatever we needed! Our guests even fell in love with Stony Mountain Vineyard, now they have even more repeat customers! We can’t wait to go back! We are...

This was our first visit. There is ample.parking in a gravel lot. From the deck there is a beautiful wide and long range view. There are a few tables on the deck. Inside there are about 8 -10 tables. You can do a tasting at the bar. The cost is $10 to Taste 6 wines. You also get to take your glasses home. There were a few we really enjoyed. They had a couple of unique wines that you don't see as often. I really liked their Blackberry wine. Is considered one of their sweet wines but has a very tart finish. I also really liked their Syrah wine. It had a definite peppery note. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Tasting included six wines.... Three whites and five red. The vineyard is muscadine. 98% of grapes are CA, NY and PA. Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Viogner are the whites. Cab Sav, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Sangiovese were the reds. Forgot Riesling. Tasting included glass. Syrah was the consensus among our group. They have event center and decks for outdoor sitting. Thoroughly enjoyed. Strong military background.
