The Rustic Vineyards Winery — Attraction in North Carolina

Don’t bother. Go to Rocky River for a true experience. Supposedly Dennis Vineyards (DV) was purchased by a new owner a few months ago. We stopped at DV today. It’s a roadside wine/beer patio. Only a couple of DV wines available, a few non-DV branded wines, and some can/bottle beers. We asked the server lady which DV wines had won awards but she had no clue. My wife had a glass of non-DV wine and I had a beer. Went to the outdoor patio to enjoy the drink in the warm weather. When I poured my beer into the glass there was no foam/head. It was flat. I checked the BB date and it was this week. I brought it back in to the bar and looked in the fridge to find a beer that was not expired. After four different brands I finally found one! So many of the bottles/cans had expired in February or in early March. BEWARE unless you enjoy stale beer. After finishing our drinks on the patio, I brought the glasses & can back to the bar and the server asked if I was going to pay the additional $1 for the beer I replaced the flat one with! I asked if she was serious… she was. I gave her the buck and suggested they not serve expired beer. No customer service here. No worries, I will not...

Dennis Vineyards is a breathtaking venue that is absolutely everything we could have wanted! I have nothing but amazing words for the vineyard and those who work at the vineyard that made our experience so special! First off, we traveled 5 1/2 hours from out of state to get married here! The instant we saw Dennis Vineyards we were in love and it very much helped that we got SOO much for the price. We took several visits for a tour and then wine tastings. Each experience was pleasant and just made us so excited for the big day. On the day of, I couldn't have asked for better staff present. They were advocates for us, helpful, patient, and calm during a crazy day! The rain might have tried to ruin the day, but thanks to the venue and really all the vendors present, the day was the best of our lives. I absolutely love Dennis Vineyard. I'm a member and I love the drive when ever I go to visit. The owners are so kind and friendly. They are truly family oriented and make you feel like family. The wines are amazing. I have been coming to Dennis Vineyard since my niece was 5 and she is 21 years old now..lol. I'm from Charlotte and they're isn't many vineyards in Charlotte so, if you're ever in the mood for a nice drive through Midland, Locust, and Redcross of NC in Albemarle, NC please visit them I promise you'll enjoy the trip. They also have Muscadine picking. They do wine tasting as well. They also do events. You'll love the wine. It's worth the drive if you live in Charlotte or just visiting from out of town.
