We love the Penn Shore wines so it was a first stop on our mini wine tour, specifically for the holiday spice wine. The building is undergoing renovations and signs led us to the back parking lot where the tasting area was outside but undercover. There was ample room and it was perfect as we brought our toddler along. Another group also had their toddlers with them. A dozen or so picnic tables under the pavilion and a few more under umbrellas surrounded by a rose garden was a cute setting. There were wine barrels set up as tables a little further away outside in the sun. It was close to the vineyards which made a great photo op. The young girl working behind the bar greeted us and we placed our wine order. I did not check if there were any food options as we weren’t interested in that at the time. My sampler wine flight came in small medicine cups. Likely because it was outside and renovations are underway. I don’t mind what the wine comes in but if you’re looking for a cute photo, this wouldn’t be it. I can’t wait to see what the new venue looks like when we come back in the next few years (or...

Our first visit turned out to be in the middle of a festival. The winery was crowded and very noisy. When we finally got to the tasting bar we could hardly hear the staff member, who seemed more interested in filling our pours than discussing any of the wines. That it, when we could get his attention. In their defence they were very crowded at this moment but this did mar our first experience there. As for the wines, they ran sweeter than our normal preferences. Opinion alert: Wine choice is highly personal and I think fans of big bold reds might be disappointed. They did pull the refs from a refrigerator which I'd a star of in my opinion. I think the reefs would have tasted better at cellar temperature rather than chilled. Again just my opinion. Wine is personal so make your own...

I visited Penn Shore recently and discovered its Pa’s oldest winery! Every wine I tasted in my tasting flight was amazing my favorite was the Cab. Franc. They have a great selection from dry to sweet there’s something for everyone. Leah was so friendly and offered me a tour of the winery, she knew a lot about Penn Shore’s history. The tour took me back in the production space and ended on the back patio over looking gorgeous vineyards. She told me they have large concerts in the summer I can’t wait to come back and attend one or even just have a picnic out back. This is place is the best I highly recommend...

Penn Shore Winery visit on 17 Feb,2024 very poor service because there were too many people there for tastings and not enough help. Made a wine purchase and because they didn't bring any change for the cash register,my purchase was rounded up! Very poor management decision. After leaving and telling the story to our group of six,one said she left a good tip. Now she wanted me to turn around and get it back😀

We really enjoyed our time at Penn Shore, and thought it was so neat they did a special vintage for the solar eclipse, which drew so many people to the northeast the spring. They have a lot of delicious wine, beer, and snacks for you to enjoy, the tasting room is very comfortable and the staff and owners are insanely friendly. We also learned that it’s Pennsylvania’s oldest winery!

Professional and friendly staff! They had dry and sweet wines. My mother n law and i liked the complex flavor of Vignoles wine. A dry white, but reminded us of a champaign flavor. They even were welcoming to our little dog that we brought with us. (Which is a 5 star in my book!) It was interesting to learn They are the oldest winery in Pennsylvania!
