Seastrand Community Park — Attraction in North Las Vegas

I love it. I've been coming here for years. When I first started coming there were no doggie park. I'm so glad to see that Seastrand Park incorporate a park for dogs. Now you need to force the Owners to keep their dog on a leash when not in the park. The other day I was teaching my 5 y/o how to ride her bike. A lady with two big dogs off the leash they started barking and charging at us. It scared my baby to death. She no longer wanted to ride her bike. This type of irresponsibility causes someone to get hurt. I was very disgruntle with the situation but I handle it like an adult should. I'm only sharing my concerns. Who know next time it probably want to do smooth. The park is for a reason and ALL dogs should be leashed up. Point Blank Period. If not it can become a lawsuit if Damages or Medical are involved. Been coming here for about 15 years now. It has good solid basketball courts, 2 little league baseball fields with concession stands for food and drinks during games, 4 soccer fields, 2 tennis courts, dog park and pretty much the usual other park areas like kids playgrounds and picnic areas. Rated it 4 stars though because the tennis courts have been quite run down now for a while, the dog park is pretty small and isn't always in the best shape and finally they used to have a pretty big 4th of July thing here with live music, good food and drinks, some attractions and when night came a pretty good firework show and it is no longer...

Great park except they have really let go of takeing care of much needed maintenance. Mud puddles around benches and others areas that are flooded by water sprinklers and are disgusting and breeding who knows what that our pets are drinking and playing in.. lights out and do something about the grass and come in those pi e cones all over step on some of those the small ones that if you have the wrong shoes on have a medical kit with you they will go rite thru the soul and I to your foot....
