Nice area. Not too big and not too small. I was there on a school trip. We studied ecology and planted some trees. There's wildlife there too, like geese, turtles, and frogs. I saw people there fishing, walking, and even running along the trail that encircles the lake. There is a boat launching area. The nature barn wasn't anything special, at least not while I was there. They have lots of parking. Bathrooms were all transportable, except for the one in the nature barn, but that one did not rely on running water. It was basically an indoor outhouse. Bring bug spray and make sure to take your allergy pills! Be ready to enjoy nature.

*recently updated my rating here. This park needs some better property management. Mad kudos to the groundskeeper on maintaining the beauty of the park. Where this park needs the adjustment is trash. It's ridiculous how much garbage is at this park. Fisherman, families on picnics, runners, people walking, or dog waste and THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH TRASH CANS THROUGHOUT THIS PARK. THEY ARE NOT EMPTIED OFTEN AT ALL AND LEGIT SMELL LIKE ANIMAL WASTE. I've seen people drive right up to the can near the barn, exit their car, and remove several bags of garbage from their trunks into the garbage can. I'm here every day walking the dogs. Great trails, large enough even for all the distancing stuff. This park is never empty except on blistering cold days.

I go here a lot since I moved to Lebanon to just walk the trail or simply fish for hours. I'm a starter fisherman but I love it so much even on days I don't catch anything. This place is so relaxing and beautiful no matter which side you're on. I also love to take pictures around here. At night it's soo peaceful. I used the pier since nobody was there except another family camping and fished while hearing all the different animals making noises in all directions right before I catch a catfish

Multiple parking lots located around the dam offer easy access. Boat ramp, picnic tables, and even a handicapped dock for fishing. I do not know if there were public bathrooms although I did see a port-a-potty close by. Camp grounds with bbq stations. It was so peaceful walking around and looking at the lake and watching the ducks and geese. I would go back again for sure.

Lots of spaces to enjoy yourself and relax. The lots and driveway are still unpaved which stinks because I have new tires. Bring your lunch because no food is sold here. There is a special needs fishing dock but unfortunately it is totally covered in duck droppings. Needs pressure washing big time.
