This elegantly manicured park in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood forms the backdrop for bicycle polo tournaments, among other things. There are numerous amenities, including picnic shelters (with electrical outlets) which may be reserved in advance by calling the city. There is a swimming pool, as well as a volleyball court. There is a playground for children. There are hockey rinks, used in summer months, as previously mentioned for bicycle Polo which is a hoot. At the center of it all is the lake itself, at writing, ringed with Cattails and hosting flocks of ducks and geese. It's encircled by a lovely paved walkway wide enough to accommodate both cyclists and pedestrians. (The nearby swimming hole of Hiniker Pond is no more than a couple of minutes away on a similar trail.) There is also a pier, reaching over the lake, and a very photogenic gazebo, nearby. I will return, very gladly, as...

I wasn’t impressed and have no need to ever go back but I can see how some people would like it. The kids sure had a great time.

For me, I wasn’t a fan of the over a half hour long wait to get in with no shade Once we got in and started to head to the water they called a 20 minute break and that happens every hour. So you get 40 minutes of swimming out of every hour due to those hourly breaks You can’t bring in your own beverages/food so you can either get dehydrated/hungry or waste one of those 40 minute swim sessions while you stand in the endless line for concessions. And heaven forbid you want to run out to your car, not allowed or you can’t get back in. There are not nearly enough bathrooms for the amount of people there were. One shower was disgusting. Another was broken.

I’m glad it’s there for the community and the kids but yeah, I’ll pass next time....

AMAZING!! Inexpensive family fun with so much to do! They've got toys, slides, and waterfalls for the little kids. Then for the bigger kids and adults they have 3 different water slides, a zip line, and a rock climb right in the pool itself. The other really nice part about the pool is that the bottom is a really soft squishy bottom so it doesn't hurt your feet. The kiddy pool area slopes down like a beach so it's nice and shallow while the little ones play with the water toys built into the pool. They also have a TON of awesome staff keeping everyone safe and making sure kids are able to do the fun stuff safely. I'm so glad they renovated it because it turned out amazing and next year I will 100% be getting a family season pass cuz it's totally worth it!!! OH! I almost forgot!! They also have an amazing snack bar too! Inexpensive but great taste and lots of...
