Anyone visiting this museum located at the Bethel College in Newton Kansas will come away with wonder and awe at what is human history..there is so much to see in a space that is not so large that it becomes overwhelming..but so much is packed into this place it's unbelievable..each corner you turn there is another lesson..some not so pleasant reminding us of what can happen when tyrants rule and then you see the craftsmanship of different cultures and marvel at their talent..I especially enjoyed visiting the Mennonite farmhouse and barn behind the museum..it brought back wonderful memories of my own childhood even though I am not Mennonite..so if you're ever in need of something new to experience I doubt you will be disappointed..don't forget to check out the little paths near the prairie grass patches..the staff was extremely nice ad friendly..the facility super clean..accessible bathrooms..even a little shop with reasonable prices..take your time nd a camera and...

This Museum primarily specializes in Kansas area history and Native American items. But, focus is on the German, Prussian/Russia ,Polish Migration, to the US and in particular, to Kansas of the Mennonite Settlers during the Mid 1800s to present.
