The 8820 — Attraction in North Ridgeville

My fiance and I took a tour here while trying to choose where to have our wedding. There were a couple reasons why we didn't choose to book here which included there being cigarette butts still in an ashtray outside when we got there, there were also cobwebs on a light outside, and a piece of what we think was chese sitting on a railing on the front patio area. The hall itself is actually kind of big for the size wedding we're going to have. Also the bridal suite is right next to the kitchen and there is no wall or door separating the entrance to the kitchen and the bridal suite which I thought was a little weird. The gazebo they have is nice but it's kind of in a weird spot. The person who gave us a tour mentioned that some people stand in the gazebo for their ceremony but the way it is positioned seems like it would be hard for everyone to see what is going on. Also if you want to use their decorations there is a fee you need to pay. I personally wasn't too impressed...

We had our February wedding at the 8820 and it was INCREDIBLE! The 8820 was everything we could've hoped for. The inside was beautiful and the outside was a lovely location for taking photos. Debbie and her team were a dream to work with! She helped us with getting everything set up and made sure everything flowed smooth on the day of. Prior to the wedding she helped us make sure we weren't forgetting anything and gave us tips and pointers to help the day run smoothly. She also had great recommendations for vendors which was really helpful since you can bring all your own vendors to the 8820! We had a food truck cater our wedding and it went fabulously. August 12, 2023, The 8820 hosted the wedding reception for our son and new daughter-in-law. The 8820 has a spacious ballroom along with several other rooms we were able to use. It is beautifully appointed, convenient and was perfect for the reception. The owners and their crew went above and beyond to make everything come together for a wonderful day!

In 2020, We celebrated our son's graduation at the 8820's beautiful pavilion and grounds. With spacious seating and lovely landscaping underneath a large grove of trees, the 8820 pavilion was perfect! 8820 has all the amenities to make having a party easier, including an outdoor kitchen area.
