Feeding bread causes permanent damage to ducks and geese. They develop angel wing. They can not migrate or fly to avoid predators. PLEASE DO NOT FEED BREAD to ducks and geese. Cracked corn, corn, peas, mealworms, romaine lettuce, watermelon, grapes CUT into pieces, cantaloupe……are a few good options!

We were surprised to see how far the trail actually goes. On the drive back out. Read moreWalked most of it, very pretty. Not plowed in winter or salted from what I could tell (walked late february). The views are amazing and the spillway is always cool to see. Lots of pretty birds. The trail leads directly into linesville if you want to stop and get a snack, water, or go potty. Out-and-back trail. There's a little rack for bicycle stuff near the entrance. Beware snow-skiers...
