Walked most of it, very pretty. Not plowed in winter or salted from what I could tell (walked late february). The views are amazing and the spillway is always cool to see. Lots of pretty birds. The trail leads directly into linesville if you want to stop and get a snack, water, or go potty. Out-and-back trail. There's a little rack for bicycle stuff near the entrance. Beware snow-skiers on the trail

Dawn to dusk availability, mostly flat surface, handicap accessible, very scenic - water, wildlife, fishing areas, Spillway local attraction

This place is beautiful but please do not feed bread to birds!

As the weather begins to get nicer and you take your kiddos to a local pond or lake to feed the ducks and geese, please keep this bit of info in mind.🙏🙏🙏

Another FYI

Feeding bread causes permanent damage to ducks and geese. They develop angel wing. They can not migrate or fly to avoid predators. PLEASE DO NOT FEED BREAD to ducks and geese. Cracked corn, corn, peas, mealworms, romaine lettuce, watermelon, grapes CUT into pieces, cantaloupe……are a few good options!

Humans can only live as long as animals on this earth. Without them, there...

Great trail. paved, wide enough for bikes and walkers. It has a good blend of scenery. There is parking at both ends we only walked 2 miles. Nice little work out for the legs. We were surprised to see how far the trail actually goes. On the drive back out. Next time we will try the other sections. this pic my son took during our many breaks, should inspire you to go walk/bike here. it was overcast fall weather it had been sprinkling but...
