Northampton Township Municipal Park — Attraction in Northampton Township

This is a great playground for young children. The equipment is in good shape and the variety of possible activities is excellent. There's even a snack shop with ice cream including Dippin' Dots for kids of all ages to enjoy. The rest of the park features soccer fields and other sports courts as well. The paved trail that goes around the sports fields is suitable for bikes and even wheelchairs or strollers. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is due to the worn condition of the rubber playground "floor" which has many holes and should be replaced. Otherwise this...

I love this playground! The cork (or cork-like material) used on the ground is so much better than the painful woodchips at the other parks (the cork is more flip flop friendly, and better for my 4yr old whos shoes keep magically disappearing...) Theres lots more to climb and play on, and is even more "smaller-kid friendly" than the other parks. The only negatives: I wish there was more for the younger kids, that is not so high; I wish the fence totally surrounded the playground, with gates (it would make supervising multiple kids easier, knowing they cant run out...

They have a wonderful playground for kids of all abilities. They have a great perimeter path good for walking, biking, and more. There is a stage that my kids love to do "shows" on. They have a Rollerblade hockey rink and basketball courts. They have bathrooms in the warmer weather and currently have a port-a-pot there for use (though I can't vouch for its cleanliness since I didn't use it). They have a covered pavilion next to the playground. And there are multiple ball fields on or next to the property. Property is dog-friendly for...
