This is a beautiful park. Nice paved paths. One path passes rhododendrons and mountain laurels that have beautiful blooms in season. Other paths go by a variety of healthy, well kept up trees and shrubs. Volunteers plant and maintain a large flower bed that has marigolds, zinnias, petunias and the like in nice vivid colors. A few tables for picnics. There is an impressive variety of plant life and little knooks and crannies in a small, very well-designed space. Admission is free, but there's a donation box. Limited on-site parking. Can park on adjoining streets if there's room. Closed to cars during late fall to early spring. Can enter on foot during the winter, but no snow removal. Needless to say, this place is extremely popular on nice weekends and summer weekends, so plan your visit...
