The park is very beautiful and provides all the amenities that one can look for. It is a blessing to have a park like this in your neighborhood.

It’s clean and well maintained throughout the year. People are friendly and you get to see people in different stages of their life sharing and enjoying the nature. The main Walking / jogging path goes round the playground. It is sufficiently wide for kids on their bike or someone with their dog or a casual walker to share the joy of walking.

It has got picnic tables, shaded picnic area, volleyball and basket ball court and the skates zone. Two beautiful playgrounds. Kids play area and some musical instruments next to it.

It also provides you an opportunity to go on a very small trail behind the play area. Also a small pond that you can see if you climb towards the north end.

Overall, the beauty is measured not from the area but from the people around and the happiness index on their face. Thanks for this great place.

A little bit of history - Ellsworth McAfee was the first soldier from Northborough, Massachusetts, to be killed in World War I.

Update 9/11/2023 - they now don’t allow kids bike on the walking pathway. They have added new sitting area near the skating area. I strongly believe they should add kids biking 🚴...

This past week (mid June of '19) while walking the paved track there, I had a "leashed" dog lunge at me. He only got my pants. A bit later on that visit, I was plowed into while walking, without warning from behind by a kid about age 9 riding a scooter on the track. A few yrs. ago it happened also that same way and that time I was knocked down. Kids at times are learning how to use their toys without supervision. I'm 76 and recovering from surgery and figure that walking on that track to be safe! Beware of an ambush If you walk there. Otherwise a nice place. Bring back the...

We were driving north towards Manchester, looking for a place to stop and have the lunch we prepared before leaving home. We Googled this place and found it about 4-5 miles off the highway. Pretty, well-maintained park with ample parking, porta-potties, and a walking path, as well as the ball fields, etc. that you normally expect. Great location, just what we were looking for, and we got to watch people walking, with and without dogs, playing ball, and just playing. If you are in the area,...

Beautiful park with outstanding sports facilities and a great place to have an outdoor get together. We decided to have our 1 year olds first birthday party here and we could not have been happier that we did. The price is very reasonable for the ‘permit’/rental of the pavilion for a few hour get together. The parking spaces are not too cramped like many lots theses days and surrounding fields, courts, and beach volleyball court were a great backdrop to the get together.

This local park is host to several sports fields, local entertainment with a park concert series, craft faire, farmers markets and even community movies. Features include a walking track, volleyball court, skate park, soccer, gazebo, redeemable pavilion newly reconstructed, and sufficient parking to handle events. There is a short walk through the woods along the river at the back of the park as well.
