Patriotic leadership is chiseled into the stone that supports these buildings, challenging the Rooks and bringing out the greatness in every person that attends this prestigious school. There is a wind of hope that passes between these buildings, through the windows and into the halls of this incredibly reputable school. I’d never been, but have known graduates. If only good men and women were easier to make. But then again, if it were easy, everyone would do it. Norwich does hard things now, so you don’t have to do it later. It’s been said, you can either build men, or fix boys 20 years from now. Norwich builds fine, reputable, respectful men and women. No other place has checked so many boxes of culture with me. “I will try.”

Great university with a lot of history and beautiful scenery! The Norwich University staff are always professional and considerate. They provided me with exxon gas cards because I was driving from Texas. Enrollment was a breeze. There's an in-depth guided tour. I was able to eat in the cafeteria with my son before the tour started. Their cafeteria is unbelievable. I didn't expect that much variety for a university.

Great rink and facilities. Kind of sad that a lot of their hockey team awards stop during Covid year and the forgot about them the following 4 years after.... Or maybe they haven't had time to update the plaques??

I attended Military College of Vermont - Norwich University (MCV-NU) during the mid-1990s. The first semester was marked by non-stop hazing and physical and psychological abuse, which included severe sleep deprivation (recognized as torture under international law). Consequently, some students became suicidal, developed hallucinations, psychosis, depression, eating, sleeping, and neurologic disorders, and other illnesses, required emergency medical care and hospitalizations, and suffered life-long medical disabilities. This abuse had no purpose and was antithetical to college education and military training.

For a highly inflated tuition, classes served not for learning but for taking much-needed naps. The dining room food, for those still able to eat while being screamed at and verbally abused, offered cereals, dry pizzas, or sandwiches. However, when the college hosted money and recruitment drives, it made banquets for its donors, using students as servants. The living quarters were small rooms in an underground basement, with two tiny windows under the ceiling that permitted almost no natural light and four or more students on metal bunk beds. Showers and toilets were communal. Frequently, the student cadre would come to the room and trash it, throwing mattresses, bedding, and personal belongings, such as clothes, textbooks, shampoo, shoe polish, and cleaning chemicals, together with trash into one big pile in the middle of the room. At other times, they would wake up students in the middle of the night, forcing them to strip naked and insert their genitals (if males) into a water flask cover attached to a belt, and run outside around the marching field in circles in the Vermont winter freezing temperatures, which at times reached between -20F to -30F under zero, while hitting them with snow and ice for their and other students' sick amusement and gratification.

The physician and the licensed mental health clinicians employed by the MCV-NU did not provide the necessary medical care nor transfer the acutely ill and severely abused students to the nearby hospital emergency department for the required medical intervention. Instead, they continued to cover up the abuse and never reported it to the medical and law enforcement authorities as legally required. When some students were eventually brought to the emergency room (by other concerned individuals) and subsequently hospitalized, and their parents pressed charges against the MCV-NU, the college administration destroyed records and ordered students and witnesses to keep silent, which they did because of their guilt and being thoroughly brainwashed by the Military College of Vermont - Norwich University Corps of Cadets.

I served under the USJSOC overseas and was a decorated war veteran before attending the MCV-NU. Although I had a full scholarship, I left the MCV-NU one year later because of the above-described abuse that threatened my academic career. I completed my BA with a summa cum laude at one of New England's private liberal arts colleges, my graduate studies at Harvard University, and my doctoral degree outside the US. My research, teaching, and leadership appointments spanned the US,...

Excellent MBA experience! Professors are challenging and top-notch professionals in their respective fields. Lots of substantive graduate-level APA writing per week. Be prepared to easily average anywhere from writing 3500-7000 words or more per week between separate discussions and challenging individual and team assignments. Don't let the work shy you away from Norwich! After the first few weeks of your first class, I PROMISE you will get used to the hefty workload and pace. Although, I'd be remiss not to mention that despite this, you will still have time for work, decent family life, and a few key friends within reason. Time management is key. However, rest assured over the course of the entire program, the workload will make you a much stronger researcher, critical thinker, and academic writer--you will be ready to "hit the ground running" in your chosen discipline well before graduation. I believe the rigor of Norwich graduate programs will prepare you for the next level of academia--a PhD. If you're not afraid of a few bumps and bruises along the way to higher learning (it will happen), I challenge you to give Norwich graduate...

Loved the friends I made and the training I received as a result of their Corps of Cadets, but its unbelievably overpriced (still paying it off after federal tuition assistance, etc after 5 years). Lots of professors dont show up to class semi-frequently, their curriculum is BS, or their grading is heavily influenced by their personal political leanings. If you go here on the military side, you wont have any resemblance of a normal college experience. Get ready for favoritism, bogus charges against their code of conduct, a 17 to 1 male to female ratio, and an empty wallet with little return. Having been assigned to an ROTC department previously with the Army, I can safely say their Army program is horrible by comparison. Rude & belittling staffs focused entirely on battle drills you'll never use while ignoring all the admin stuff you will be rushing to learn when you commission. Im proud of my accomplishments here, but in retrospect, I absolutely would have picked a...
