I didnt even know this spot was here, its a nice little tucked out the way place. The park area isnt huge but the view is amazing, there's decent bath rooms, and there are some nice walking/hiking trails. They have picnic tables and some charcoal grills avaliable and its right on the water where you can catch the riverboat tours.

Great location. Beautiful views. Close to places to get food and a state park which is wonderful to visit and in the spring you can go to the fish ladder to see the fish going. Upstream

Nice, beautiful setting along the Connecticut River! Easy walking paths. Easy to find, plenty of parking, at least there was in April when we were there.

My family takes a trip out here every year to walk the bridge and visit the park. Never more than a few people here. In the summer they do boat rides on the Connecticut River, you need to visit the Visitor's Center down the road to purchase tickets. There is a large pavilion that you can rent for gatherings. There is a small building with a couple of bathrooms but this year it was boarded up. I'm not sure if they are being renovated or we just arrived after the season was done and they...

Riverview Park provides Connecticut River access, Trails & Picnic Area. On the South side of the Park is the discharge of the 1GW Firstlight Northfield Mt Pump Storage Project. When boating stay away from the Tailrace marked by orange floating booms, the project is most likely to operate in the afternoon of a extremely warm day during peak electric grid load.

A photo of the project generating power would make an interesting addition...

Great spot to head with the family or friends for a casual hangout or even a birthday party. A bunch of picnic areas that include bench and table as well as a grill. Some trees also cover a majority of the area if your wondering, so gives you so some nice shade on those really hot days. And a few spots are uncovered to the sun. Opened bathrooms. Also surrounded by water and a few docks to go fishing from or get on a kayak. Well...
