The Valley's are Sheer Beauty and gorgeous mountain views are the best. This is a beautiful place and the fact that someone could be selfish enough to burn all of that history and taint memories that we're precious to people(now shrouded), with a guy who set fire to the original structure, and it was all because of someone that broke his heart. Ihave been very heartbroken and I guess God just made me different from most. I can't handle something or even confrontation for example,I would rather not have a husband than to be miserable or cause him to be miserable or unhappy. If someone is not in the same mind and heart frame as you, well 9 times out 10 the foundation of a relationship will become too damaged and difficult for one another to communicate. No communication turns to no intimacy, no intimacy turns into, hiding things from you, doing something out of character because of the influence of others opinions, and more than likely the cheating will start. If you think you could of been okay with all of the other things that occurred, well if and when the cheating starts you will lose all trust and over time the situation will eventually become too toxic for...

(At that time, and when returning from the tower, I looked for a sign to make sure I hadn't simply missed one.) The road up to the parking lot is at a second hairpin turnoff, this time to the right. Approaching it, I could see the back of a sign. I paused just past the sign so I could read the front and see that I needed to turn there, too.
The signage could...
Read moreMy husband and I are over 55, and we do hike in many areas over multiple states. We hiked the day after rain, so trail was wet and a little sloppy. It does have a lot of rock to walk over, so wear proper footwear and watch twisting those ankles and knees! It took us 1 hour to get up to the tower, 45 mins to get down. A walking stick was definitely helpful! That view was incredible! The breeze at the top made us glad we opted to bring sweatshirts. The entry to the hike is between the guardrails in the parking lot and unmarked, but the trail itself is blazed well with yellow tree markers. We will definitely do this again when we are in this area! The view...
