Forget Disney being the happiest place on earth, THIS is my happy place! This sanctuary houses animals who have very sad pasts, but thanks to these beautiful souls who rescued them, they are thriving and living their best lives. πŸ™πŸ’• It's such a Zen experience...being able to pet the animals, interact with them, and appreciate their beauty up close is amazing. You can feel the love as you walk around. The animals are extremely well-cared for and the volunteers on the grounds are friendly and passionate about what they do. It's so moving to see their unwavering dedication to giving these precious creatures a second chance in life. I wish millionaires and billionaires would reach into their pockets and help places like Winslow instead of buying yachts, space ships or Lamborghinis.... I don't know how Winslow is able to afford giving these animals such a wonderful home by only charging the public $20 admission fees. Bless them and all the animal lovers out there who afford these animals the love, care and dignity that they deserve.I can't recommend Winslow highly enough. Just go and experience the magic...

I placed a call to Winslow Farm on 6/17/16 to ask if I could tour the facility to see if it would be a good fit for any of the Adults in the Employment program I work at to volunteer. As soon as they heard "disability" I was rudely shut down and did not even get to ask for the tour. I was told they would be at risk of being "kicked by a horse" ...doesn't everybody have that risk working on a farm? Do you really think I would put any of my people in a situation that would harm them? This would be why I wanted to ask for a tour. Ohh and worried about law suits had you taken a moment to listen we are fully insured! We are an employment program, we train people to be gainfully employed, our people have many talents and because of closed minded people like the one I spoke with many will work to levels you will never see from someone without a disability. Believe me Winslow.... this was your loss! Extremely disappointed that at this day and age people are so closed...

THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON PARKING ALONE. I am a truck driver and had to pass this place today, I am not happy with cars parked on the street, causing me to drive in the center of the road, with oncoming traffic. My main concern was for any children that might dash onto the street, but secondly, my attention was divided to the oncoming vehicles. Luckily there were no accidents as I drove by, but the potential risk is there. A small suggestion. Sacrifice a few feet along side the road, so parked cars are completely off the road. This will eliminate the need to drive in the center of the road avoiding parked cars, reduce the amount of attention directed to oncoming traffic, and increase the attention directed for any stray children. Besides that, it looked like a great place to bring my children, if I lived closer. I bumped up the star rating to 4 as to not hurt your...

It's a great family friendly place! My boyfriend and I went there the other day and it was honestly better than expected. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The admission is slightly steep($10 for adults, $5 for children over two) and is cash only, but it's going to a good cause. The animals are very friendly and well taken care of. What's great about this place is you can actually go in with most of the animals pet them. All in all is was a great little day trip and we will be returning with our sons( age 2 and 3). I would definitely recommend this place for anyone with kids or even without!
