Wamplers Lake — Attraction in Norvell Township

Love going here to jet ski , go just about every weekend in the summer. And other regulars know me as well. Very nice laid back people most of the time. Once in a great while, you'll get some older person who might, complain about something. Only had an issue 1 time last summer, out of the last 4 yrs of going . Go early on holiday weekends, as it fills up fast, to get best spots, being it's so popular . BUT BEWARE- the east side of lake (which includes the boat launch & public beach area) is patrolled by Lenewee County sheriff marine patrol, & is a d**knead, he WILL ticket you for NO WAKE zone !! Beautiful example of fun inland lake swimming! Smaller lake that is quick to warm up for summertime fun! The beach is great, the concession stand has any treats you might like, and you can see your feet when you're up to your neck in the water! One of the true blessings that come with living in the beautiful state of Michigan! The beach is nice and the swimming area is marked off with buoys. Wamplers Lake truly is a gorgeous place. The water and surrounding area is clean, the homes that sit near the water are so well kept and add to the charm of the lake. The residents are all incredibly friendly and boaters of all ages are respectful and safe. The sunsets are unforgettable and are easily viewed from Jerry’s Pub which is a gem located on the water.
