Me and my cousins were at Mohegan park on the trail enjoying our time, We went back to the kids park to have fun before the sun went fully down and there was a men watching us for about 20-25 minutes standing there with something in his pocket. He started to approach my younger cousins until my older brother screamed at my cousins to get up and once they got up we left right away. We believe that person started to follow us home in a grey car because the person was the only person in the park with us and the grey car was the only one in the parking lots. On the way home the car went the same route as us. We had a very fun time but the park is very unsafe and a very easy place to kidnap or stalk children/adults. The person who was watching was standing in front of the start of the trail and we didn’t notice the person and just assumed it was a dark spot on a tree till we looked closely and realized it was a human...

I love this park.

It is great to have such a big green space near to my home. I love to spend an afternoon strolling around the bigger pond or hiking through the trails.

I have seen people fishing from the pond, which seems like a fun family activity! There are also several covered spaces for picnics or parties.

Up the hill from the pond is a playground for younger children. This playground has lots of newer equipment. There is another playground on the other side of the pond. It has more swing-type equipment. It also seems a little bigger, but slightly older equipment.

Recently they've added workout equipment on the far side of the pond from the playground on a hill. It's durable outdoors stuff that would be great for rotation or adding to a run or walk.

Overall, this is great place to spend an afternoon by yourself or...

I have been going to Mohegan park ever since I was a kid in the 90s. It has changed quite a bit and I have to say I am mostly pleased. I would have given the park a 5 star review if it were not for the kids playground. I feel the level of difficulty to reach the slide is only suited for bigger kids. The little kids have a hard time reaching the top. I do understand there is a little kids playground... but the small one isn't great for the big kids. I would recommend everyone come spend their free time here to walk the trails or fish. It contains a large beautiful rose...

We took an impromtu adventure to bring this bad boy out and it was suggested that we go to Mohegan Park... it is gorgeous! There are tons of walking trails, I got to rollerblade, there is a pond you can fish in and to swim in from June until winter (so I couldn't swim this time), there are new playgrounds as well as exercise equipment as well. It was a nice time. I look forward to going again, and again... and again.

A peaceful environment for walks and picnics. The trail around the water is an easy half-hour stroll, and there are more paths in the woods for those who want a longer hike. The picnic areas are on rougher ground than most parks, but it creates a more natural setting for outdoor eating. There are playgrounds for kids and beautiful canopies and fountains perfect for taking pictures. Plenty of parking and free entry!

What an amazing place! It is stunningly beautiful. And everything's free. There's a little beach. There's fountains; there's playgrounds, beautiful hiking areas. They've even got exercise workout equipment built into the pathway so you can exercise along the way. The only downside is they don't allow dogs The people show up their dogs constantly, which is not fair, but...
