Sometimes you have such an authentic and wholesome experience you want to tuck it deep down into the dirt road you drove in on and try not to let the world know about the quiet gem you just encountered. But then you think it would be a disservice to the wonderful owners who opened their tasting room to you to let you explore the results of what is clearly a delicate union of passion, sweat and fruit juice in its purest form. The owner ushered us into the tasting room, poured tastings of both wine and cider, and proceeded to describe the fruits of their labor with stories of their journey to their final form in our glass. The cider itself unpretentious but deserving of a singular spotlight for the effervescent and brilliant explosion of flavors that took place in my mouth.
