Let me just start by saying that I grew up in Nottingham, attending this library when it was the old building and library card numbers were 4 digits long.
It's been probably 8 years since I last came to this library, so let's say I was skeptical taking my two small children (ages 3 and 16 months) there for story time while we were in town visiting my parents earlier this month.
The story hour FAR exceeded my expectations. The women they have running story hour are doing a phenomenal job. From fun songs with dances/props to an extremely well-thought out craft outside, it was an amazing time. My three-year-old did not want to leave!

Read moreWhat a great bunch of employees at this library. They are all so friendly and nonjudgmental. The director Cara Marsh is so kind and caring. She has a really genuine personality and makes everyone feel welcome.
The downstairs kid area is set up really nicely with a puppet theater, lots of activities and books that are set up nicely for kid's to see/reach.
