Crap service n crap lodging conditions especially for the cost be ready for leaks, non friendly island bugs, n no ac. Just better off staying off base. They try to make u feel like a POS asking for new towels after 7 days staying. Day to day or weelky rm cleaning isnt a thing. I bought detergent not beach for white towels. Tried too call about a loud party occurring past midnight, just saying hey I want people too have a good time but it's past midnight n the sound echoes in the building. If u send someone too let them know I'm sure they're chill out with the loud speaker. Hotel lodging said call the police. I'm like hold up, it's not that serious, can u just have an employee ask them to lighten up. She insisted in me calling the mps, I said no. Told her I booked a rm here with the expectation the hotel would provide an environment where I could sleep at a reasonable hour. She kept on trying too get me too call the cops. Like wtf. Bros r having a good time just send someone to tell them to turn the speaker n let them have a good night. Finally she agreed too send an employee, doubt that's actually gonna happen. Just not a military friendly hotel, they literally default to cops instead of a simple conversation. Not bros. Plus the bugs, like the bad ones, find same per...
Read moreFrom the outside it doesn't look like much. Don't judge a book by its cover. I stayed 7 days as a single occupant. The standard set up in my room: Queen bed with comfortable matress and extra pillows. 1/2 size fridge with separate freezer/fridge compartments. Small microwave. Keurig with coffee pods refreshed daily. Cable TV and DVD player. Small desk and comfortable chair with ottoman. Small private lanai. Tiny bathroom. (no tub and not handicap friendly - didn't affect me, but including in case that matters to you). AC was adequate. Housekeeping did a great job - very clean! No signs of critters. Free wifi that was a bit glitchy to connect to, but fast and stable once connected. Free land line calls to the mainland, which is nice if your cell company doesn't have good coverage on Pearl Harbor (mine didn't). There is a communal large lanai with gas grill available. Short walk to the NEX shopette with fast food court and McD's. I definitely would stay again and recommend to others. NOTE: The room I had would be too small with children, but excellent for single occupant or for a couple. Unsure what other room...
Read moreAfter staying here for six weeks I'm not a huge fan of this place. The good: the beds are okay, the fridges and microwaves are fine, and the best thing is you won't get a better price on the island. There's more parking in the back, but they have blockades up so people won't use them as side streets. You have to drive around the block to get to the other side if the front is full. My biggest caution is the washers and dryers: although free, nearly all have issues. Some dryers don't turn, some washers never come off of the rinse cycle. Even if it is a working washer or dryer, it will still take an hour to do one cycle. I have a list of the working washers and dryers when I was there, assuming they're slow to fix them because they didn't seem to care when I let them know. Dryers 3,8,9,10. Washers 1&3. The number are located on the wall behind the...
