2022 update: Porta-johns now gone. :( Cute park with parking and porta-johns. It's the entrance to Kawainui Marsh Trail. Great, easy, mostly paved (some areas are gravel) and pretty flat hike along Maunawili Stream.
Ok to bring leashed dogs, per DLNR signage.
Ducks, marshland, and an array of frogs(?).
If you bring a stroller, be prepared for some gravelly road til you hit the pavement along the marsh.
Beautiful views of the mountains.
No shade, so bring a hat or umbrella.
No great water spots (public fountain...ewwww), so bring your own water.
Some adults not as nice to let kids use the pavement, though most are, and saw just one unleashed dog; pretty mild overall.
Recommend a bike over scooter, and off-road strollers...

It's about two-thirds (across) gravel not suitable for biking, and a bit of paved road (after a stretch towards the beginning that's all gravel). There are signs saying pedestrians have the right of way, and they will. not. move. for cyclists, so passing is tricky, stressful, and generally annoying.
There's plenty of parking. There are two fairly nasty portable toilets by the...
