Great park with a playground unlike any other on the island. About 1/2 of the play structure is covered by a buiy-in shade sail system. This is a private park for the community around it, so you must actually be a guest of one of the residents to visit. As a private park, there are no public facilities (I guess it is assumed you could use the facilities of the residents you are visiting if there is a need.) So visit with an empty bladder and a full water bottle.
Park is very popular, almost always has every built in bench occupied. So might want to bring a camp chair. And the park is rather new, so the trees are still young and small. Bring an umbrella or sunscreen! Aldo be aware that it is open to leashed pets, and LOTS of residents do seem to walk their dogs there while the kiddos play. There are no toddler safe structures for them to play alone, however, my toddler had a great time learning while I stayed right with him while he explored and climbed a little bit. There are benches and some shade. Also, the larger structure has a canopy. There is also a water bubbler (drinking fountain) on the other side of the grassy field with benches and a little pavilion. All of the kids at the playground were having fun. Note that the bubbler also has a doggy dish bubbler!!!!!...
Read moreMy son is only 10 months old and he just started walking. Normally, the playground has turf, but this time it had fake grass along with real grass on the outside. However, it was great for babies and older kids to still have a decent amount of space and area for all to play.
