The course is open in January 2021. Just wear a mask for Covid. if you are a visitor from the mainland, you might be required to send a copy of your Covid test by email A few days in advance. I golfed on six courses on this trip and this was the most affordable at $50 for a visitor. The most expensive, turtle Bay on the north shore, was $200, By comparison. The greens are a little bit in rough condition, but the rest of the course is maintained well. It’s a pretty easy course, not much for hazards. If you’re a newer golfer, you’re really welcome that. The scenery is excellent. Looking at the valley, it feels like you might be in Jurassic Park with the green mountains in the mist. looking down, many of the higher holes have a nice view of the water and the ocean.(from a distance, it’s not on the beach) And yes, there are chickens on the course I like the course , I think it’s a great value.

My favorite golf course on the island. Not the best maintained(cart paths are horrible) but there is something about the quiet, peaceful tranquility that I really enjoy. I love the layout.Reminds a bit of many of the courses on Maui in south Kehei where you get lots of ocean views. There is always something blooming on the course and the rough mountain valley on both sides of the course are gorgeous You hit a drive towards the mountain and ball seems suspended in motion. I normally play 36 holes when I go Check out #17 and take lots of photos. The staff are helpful and friendly. I hope it continues the same when the west course is remodeled..THE ABOVE REVIEW WAS WRITTEN SEVERAL YEARS AGO. IT IS STILL A GORGEOUS COURSE BUT THERE IS NO MONEY BEING SPENT ON THE COURSE. THE CART PATHS ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND THE BUNKERS HAVE NO SAND IN THEM AND WEED ARE GROWING IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM. TOO BAD---NO LONGER...

Do Not play here if you’re expecting anything more than a 1-star golf course…They should have paid me to play here instead of paying them. The course is in HORRIBLE condition. One hole in particular has more sand filled divots on the green then actual green. A ton of pot holes on the cart paths, and the pro shop looks like an empty store that just got robbed. Absolutely zero merchandise and items. We flew here from state-side without anything and was gonna need everything (clubs, tee’s, balls, etc). The clubs were the best part of the entire day. Really good condition Taylor-made. But everything else, and I mean everything else sucked. If there was another course near by, I would have cancelled the reservation and got a refund. The website is very misleading and doesn’t represent anything of what they actually have or see when you go in person....
