With over 2 dozen personal ascents, Olomana is one of my favorite hikes outside the Grand Canyon. But to go beyond (Olomana or '1st peak' does not offer much juice for the squeeze compared to just stopping at the best views from the summit of Olomana.

I2nd and 3rd peak make it twice the work. and the risk factor is very real--not close to worth it IMHO. My hope is that travel bloggers will stop with the "3 peaks" naming, get back to "Olomana," and nobody else gets unlucky slipping or losing their balance and life after venturing...

After making it to the last peak, I’m surprised it was worth seeing even though getting past those rock climbing section. It’s a good view but not better than the first two peak in my opinion but for making it this far I would say it’s consider good in my books. Overall three peaks is a very good trail for a first timer but won’t be doing the whole thing again soon just for the first and second peak only for tour...

One of my favorite short ridge hikes on the island. First you get in a good cardio workout to the 1st peak (actual Olomana peak). Short crossing to the 2nd peak named Paku’i, and from there the gnarly looking 3rd peak Ahiki. There are ropes to help you ascend or descend, but make sure you don’t trust them fully, might just use it as an emergency. The views are...

It’s a good view but not better than the first two peak in my opinion but for making it this far I would say it’s consider good in my books. Overall three peaks is a very good trail for a first timer but won’t be doing the whole thing again soon just for the first and second peak only for tour guiding my friends.
