O'Day Lodge — Attraction in O’Fallon

First off I just want to share that I was really excited to see this venue but after our experience my family and I left disappointed. Yesterday my family and I came for a tour to view the venue that I had booked at least two weeks in advance. When we arrived we were not even so much as greeted with a hello and the lady that was giving us the "tour" did not even introduce herself to us. When I told her what we were here for she responded with "oh you're early." At most we were 10 minutes early. She then "showed" us the hall were we would have the reception which was not even set up with so much as a table and then the kitchen where the caters would be at. She briefly went over cost and then gave us a pamphlet with additional information. The tour was supposed to be at least 30 minutes I would say the "tour" maybe lasted 5 minutes. My family and I were just very disappointed because I was really excited to see this venue as it was on...

My son's wedding reception was held at O' Day Lodge and our guests could not stop complimenting on what a wonderful venue this is. We all loved that we could have dinner and dancing inside but then those who didn't just want to dance or sit at their tables could have other options. Many went outside on the wrap-around veranda to talk and enjoy beverages and others went down to the lawn to walk around or throw a Frisbee or toss some bean bags, etc.... Everyone was free to have a great time, yet the abundance of windows still made everyone (inside and outside) feel connected to the same event. The lodge offered the perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and fun; our guests could really make themselves at home and settle in for the evening. I highly recommend...

I recently had my wedding here and it was the perfect place to have it! We were looking for a venue to accommodate 200+ people, hardwood floors, handicap accessible, and perfect for pictures and this checked all of our boxes. The wrap around deck is nice for guest get a breath of fresh air but still be able to be around the party and the inside is spacious and elegant for a wedding event. The staff does a great job of walking you through the process and getting everything set up for your big day with no worries. The prices are fair for current wedding venue cost.
