Beautiful park. It is the most nature like non nature park I have ever seen. There are fake rocks and even fake grass and brooks. On one hand, the park is beautiful with overlooks of the forest and and incredibly we thought out, challenging, and engaging play area for kids and adults alike. On the other hand, there is almost no shade, and every artificial surface gets incredibly hot in the sun. Most of the play spaces are unusable if the sun is out because it hurts the kids skin. Our cub scout pack used the group camping area and it was great! It's local and not to far of a drive. Plenty of things to do... play in the creek, go on a hike, visit the play ground.
