We went to the Strawberry Festival and saw there was face painting. There was no clear marking/sign whether we had to pay for it. I expected that when we walked in there might be another sign. There was a tiny piece of paper with a few pictures and numbers, no $ signs.
So this girl has her paint ready, and after my toddler has already sat down and chosen, she rudely states, “it’s $5.” She spends literally 3 seconds painting my 3 year old daughter’s face. My daughter hates it and wants a different one. Instead I was told that I would have to pay for a new painting because the girl “used materials”. Now I don’t know how expensive that paint is, but considering my daughter was sitting there crying because she hates it, it shouldn’t have been a big deal to repaint what she wanted.
