Eagle Coin Stamp & Jewelry Co. — Attraction in O'Fallon

I went to this store with my grandfathers collection of various silver coinage dated 1964 and earlier(all silver) and was verbally abused and threatened physically by the owners. I had multiple pieces and they are not equipped with a coin counting machine(lol). The owner was extremely impatient in counting my collection, and was unwilling to answer any questions that I had I sold a roll of 1951 uncirculated dimes and was told that I would only receive standard melt value. We made quite a few more agreements upon other coins. He was retrieving my money when the problems started. I have some very nice 1892-S Barber Silver Dollars that are rare and even in poor condition are above silver value. I inquired to the other employee where I might sell coins for numismatic value, and he replied that this was the place. I informed him that the other owner had stated differently. The large owner then erupted in anger and threatened me physically, and accused me of being on drugs??? because I was asking him questions. He then threw all the coins that I had taken out and made an agreement to sell into my box(it took hours to reorganize them) and refused the sale. I have never been treated so poor in my life. I went to Midwest Money the next day and received almost twice the value that Eagle Coin shop offered, with actual customer service. I would recommend anyone to steer very clear of this store and its ownership.(BTW-they are not very knowledgeable, I have a 1857 copper nickel flying eagle penny in VF condition(i sold it for over 50$) and they said that it was worthless, I would...

I've been doing business with Eagle Stamps and Coin for yrs and I must say they know their business like no one they are very fair knowledgeable I've bought sold and traded with them many times and don't have any problems going and doing business with them anytime you must understand that collectibles lots of people want retail for their stuff but want wholesale for yours it doesn't work like that if you want retail they will buy retail and gladly sell you retail or visa versa but on the other hand they do give deals I've seen it been apart of it great place to do business awesome family...

This place is a fantastic store for buying coins, cards, and stamps. My husband has been going here for years and years, and I was surprised to find this store even had something for me: Pokémon cards and heavy duty binders for my collection.
