The baseball field we played on was great. Our 14U boys all liked it. We were told metal cleats weren't allowed so none were worn, but the opposing team apparently didn't get the same memo... There are also covered bleachers and clean restrooms! Only downside is there are no concessions available for purchase.

Great playground with mature trees. Was the old playground better for older kids... yes. Did the city lie to residents saying the old playground was beyond repair... yes. But the new playground is good, not better and the new pool will be amazing!

Pool was kool. Staff was Kool as a fan. They were on the ball. Kept the scene safe even noticed a kids forehead coming too close to splittin on the diving board during an Ill back flip. Then he explained what the kid did wrong to him

My kiddos love this park. Very large obstacle course for the bigs to make up a ninja warrior game while the littles are playing on the smaller play set or being pushed on the little swings. Several larger swings for the bigger kids. Plenty of shaded bench space for moms to sit and observe or read a book. Great 1 mile track around park. As well as baseball fields, picnic benches and a swimming pool. Need to rent a hall? They have a building just for that, or something more adorable they even have a cottage next to the playground for rent for those adorable birthday parties. Plenty of fast food options on the main street next to the park, all within longer walking distance. Plenty of parallel parking...

Update: The new train playset is now open and a wonderful replacement to what once was.

My son absolutely loves the tallest slide here. He is a brave adventure seeking three year old that B-Lined and navigated his way towards that slide the very first time he saw it. The spaceship rocker is his next favorite thing. It also has this tire see saw type thing that grabbed his and my attention. He needs to be bigger to enjoy it. All in all, great park! He absolutely loves it. Can't wait till my youngest son is old...

1st time at your Festival. It was set up nicely. The only thing I didnt like was the tickets buying something to drink. I understand to wear a band or buying tickets for the alcohol. But for water and soft drinks that was crazy. Why can't people go a booth and purchase their water or soft drinks instead of buying a ticket. I end up buying a lemonade shake up. Loved the parade though!! Very nice people at their booths....
