There were plenty of fields for large tourneys - and ample, easily accessible parking. The fields are turf, so they were nice and even - which is lovely to watch a game on! Very impressed at how well-kept the area is.
The only negatives I have are that some of the pitches are smaller than the standard size for certain age groups, which can affect gameplay. (Imagine knowing how hard to kick a ball to get it to a certain spot, but suddenly every kick is an over kick b/c the pitch is smaller by several feet!) Not anything to cry about, but something to keep in mind when coming in for a game.
Lastly, there were easily THOUSANDS of people there the weekend that we went. And their concession stand was surprisingly disappointing. They had brats, popcorn (cold), and hot pretzels, but nothing else on the menu that would constitute a "lunch". (They had a large menu with burgers, chicken, etc, but they said they weren't cooking). To drink, they only had gatorade and water.
While this certainly isn't the end of the world, I wish I had known their limited concession ability before arriving - as we would have purchased food before arriving. During our soccer break, we were starved, but had no time to go get something to eat outside of the park. Feels like that's a big missed $$ opp for them too!
HIGHLY SUGGEST bringing a cooler and your own lunch if you have more than one game in case they only have a limited selection again.
Other than that, love this park - and we'll be back often...
Read moreWe were in from out of town for the soccer tournaments. I was impressed with how exceptionally clean the entire park was being there were SO many people in one place. They were hosting softball tournaments on one end of the park and soccer tournaments at the other end. To say the least it was a very busy place. The bathrooms are located in a central area of all of the fields and are inside facilities. They have a soda machine and a Gatorade/water machine outside the restrooms. Though it was completely sold out by the end of the first day. They have a playground and concession store outside of the field area. The couple of times I walked over to try to get drinks during a game, and once at a halftime, the line was very long and did not move very fast. I would have had to miss a big portion of our game if I wanted to make a purchase, so we just waited until we left the park. There is plenty of parking and nothing is to far of a walk in my opinion. They have handicap parking and accessible restrooms. There are bleachers for viewing of games in few fields. We brought our own chairs and blankets. There is also a bike and walking trial that goes around the perimeter of the park. It was overall a great experience and I totally...
Read moreGreat park with all the modern amenities for baseball, soccer and fitness. Includes a 2 mile walking trail that encircles the park and is perfect for anyone looking to get in some walking or jogging. Also has multiple pavilions you can rent for parties, plus several small water preservation areas where you can see some ducks, geese, fish, turtles, or even the occasional muskrat.
There are eight softball fields: Numbers 1 through 4 in the blue quadrant and numbers 5 through 8 in the red quadrant.
There are two baseball fields numbers 9 and 10.
There are eight soccer fields numbered 1 through 8 on the north side of the park.
The map also shows four more soccer fields outside of the gated areas, but they are rarely used.
See my picture below for a detailed park map!
