The Regency O'Fallon & Catering — Attraction in O'Fallon

A million thanks to Michelle Jens and the staff at the Regency. My daughter's wedding all went so well! I'm kind of amazed. Only because it seemed like there were so many moving parts but once it got moving, it all just moved! Thank you so much Michelle, for all you did through out but also for the last minute things you took care of without a blink - moving the cocktails, the water idea, etc. I so appreciate everything. And the 'get ready' room looked great with the presentation of the food and the big mirror.

By all accounts, the food was delicious. I know my plate was! The staff I encountered was awesome.

I know I am biased but I thought the pergola area and the reception space looked beautiful. Beyond my expectations. The mahogany chairs! The flowers! I know you are already a fan of An Affair to Remember but I will be raving about you, about Jodi at AATR, The Regency, and DJ Robb! There were people, lots of people, on the dance floor from beginning to end! And the cake - so good, thank you...

We attended a wedding here for a family friend. The ceremony was held on site, after which everyone moved to another room for the reception. We stayed at one of the 2 attached hotels. Given that it was a December wedding, it was really nice to leave our coats in the room, and not to have go outside between the ceremony and reception. Walking from the room to the wedding was a huge plus! As far as the venue itself, I’m not sure this would be an ideal place for small weddings, as the rooms were quite large. The biggest negative though, was how the tables were arranged. The bridal table was along one wall, and the guest tables were on the opposite wall. None of the guest tables were anywhere near the bridal table. To me, this seemed very strange. This could be easily fixed by moving them closer. Finally, I was very impressed with the staff and the food. The waiters were both personable and attentive, and the food was very good. The regency, specifically Michelle, was absolutely perfect for our wedding. We booked the regency initially for our reception only and they were able to accommodate all our needs for our non-tradition menu. This was a big selling point for us. They have also worked with most vendors in the area so they were confident and comfortable about who we mentioned we were working with. About 1 month before our big day our ceremony site cancelled and the regency was able to accommodate without hesitation. They contacted our vendors to make sure the adjustment we needed for the setup was ready and everything went off without a hitch. Michelle was with ya every step of the way, she’s fantastic! She met us for the rehearsal and walked us through everything and was there for the ceremony and reception to make sure everything went as planned.
