Paint Creek Falls is also known as Westerly Falls. It's about 20 miles north of Beckley, West Virginia off I-64. If you're passing through the area on the interstate, the round trip visit to the falls only adds about 20 minutes to your drive. Google Maps provides incorrect directions to the falls; for some reason it doesn't recognize Highway 15 / Milburn Rd. as a road. From I-64 (north or south bound), take Exit 60 to the intersection of Highway 612 and Highway 15 / Milburn Rd. Turn left on Milburn Rd. In about 3.7 miles, park on the side of the gravel road. Walk down the steep embankment to the falls 100 feet away. The road and falls are well shaded by trees so the falls can be enjoyed rain or shine. Keep in mind the water and algae can make the rocks very slippery so be careful when exploring the falls. This a serene place to take a break from a long drive.

Great stop for solitude & a quick cool off swim. The falls are small but beautiful. Be careful walking in the paved road because even though there is very little traffic, when a car comes around the corner there’s not much time to get out of the way. There are 2 old bridges that are fun to walk across & watch the water flow. Great place to stop!!

There is no trail. You park on the side of the road and walk down a steep embankment. The Falls are pretty but there was some trash on the ground and it looked like someone had been camping there. No picnic tables or restrooms by the falls.

There are better places than the falls. There is big swimming hole and rope swing if you take the road across the Exxon gas station. Is also has a couple story high cliff that you can jump off of. There is another spot with a small rope swing and one with a sandy beach, that makes for a good camping and...
