Oakdale Discovery Center — Attraction in Oakdale

Omg I cannot believe all the wonderful delicious fruit this place has growing here specifically multiple varieties of apples, grapes, and plums along with thousands of raspberry bushes everywhere. The trails are beautiful and maintained properly and the property itself is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. The nature center is very well take care of with plenty of education from a young to old. They have a room for children to play with all sorts of toys and goodies. There's all kinds of wildlife here to enjoy and plenty of trails miles of enjoyment jogging walking hiking etc it's got you covered. The lady working on nature Center was very friendly kind and outgoing. They have a wonderful pavilion for people to use if need me as well including lots of ample parking space. The facility was clean the restrooms were clean and the property itself was clean and the trails were nice and maintained. Check out these apples in the pictures! We’re moving soon and this beloved park will be oh so missed by my awesome dog and myself. The trails are awesome year round and it’s a big enough park that it rarely feels crowded. Love that the loop is paved for strollers and wheelchair accessibility, love the mowed paths for the serenity, love the deer trails, love the playground, the bridge, and all the wild life we see year round. And thanks for the garbage cans throughout the park because it’s nice to not have to carry poo on our walks. Free parking. And what else… just awesome. Love this spot. It’s a little slice...

Very scenic park. The outer path winds through the woods then over a wooden bridge back to the nature center is about two miles. Shorter walks are available. Also a lot of trails that aren't paved. I've seen numerous deer there. Also owls and multiple other birds. There is two pavilions, one on each side of the park. The nature center always is hosting events and offer other services.
