This place is gorgeous! We stayed at Hackleberry Flats, first set of sites after the guard shack. Lots of space! Birds, breeze, sunshine, and campsites next to the water. It is quiet and not too buggy! We were here at the end of March into the beginning of April. So the water activities of any kind was prohibited which is probably why this place wasn't busy. I read some low reviews for this place and it seemed to mention an ongoing issue of loud obnoxious drunk people that play their music loud. And no one here enforcing rules. Not while I was here! Thank goodness! So if you like quiet, come when water activities are prohibited. Less people. Less noise. We stayed in our RV so we didn't use their bathroom often, but there was some low reviews mentioning uncleanliness of the public bathrooms. That's a shame! I'm glad I have my own bathroom. So tent campers, this may be an issue. Closest town is about 5.5 miles away. All your standard eateries and some local fare. Yay! As you come in, there is a nice orchard. Full hook ups! Lots of space to bike around. Pretty wildflowers this time of the year! Not too busy when we were here, which is great! $30 a night, unless you're military or disabled veteran then it's $15 per night for full hook ups. Check out is 2p! Wahooooo! Hope you enjoy this place too!!

I went camping from the 7th to the 10th. My experience were very upsetting to say the least. We ended up inviting quite a bit amount of people. There were a total of about 25 of us that went to Woodward Reservoir. They raised the rate up by $5 and we ended up paying $25 dollars a day to camp. The bathrooms were always filthy. Toilet paper , pee, feces, dirty diapers, and just trash all on the floor. No hot waters in the showers. It was very upsetting to see all of that go down when we camped here previously and didnt have these many issues. I do have to admit that I ended up scrubbing 1 of the showers because somebody left feces all on the floor of 1 of the shower stalls. It is bad enough that there are only 2 showers in each bathroom outside of the porta potty. So yes I did end up cleaning it out which im hoping it dont harm me in the long run. Thinking about it makes me want to gag. That was not my job to clean it. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper, No soap in the dispenser. Seriously with all the money that people pay, I would think that keeping the toilets stocked with toilet paper and soap could be a top priority for you!! And clean it every hr or every other hr and not just once a day. Which even that once is not even cleaned properly, they just stock the toilet paper and then be on their way. I hope and pray that everyone that goes here doesnt get an infection or worse. My daughter ended up getting sick while there. Makes me really want to rethink of returning or even telling people...

My family went on Tuesday and set up camp the rangers came daily to do their patrolling. Everything was great. The rest of our family came on Thursday morning. We were all set up and was enjoying some beer and bbq and swimming. The ranger approached our party and tells us to move all our tents. There were no signs where we were at. We said show us the sign and the ranger accused us of breaking the sign? Ridiculous! So we said no! Bring a sherif or someone else cause there is no sign. They show up 3 hrs later with 7 officers telling us to pack up and leave within 10 mins. We explained it took us an hour to set up to begin with. They took that as a no. They proceed with around 20 sheriff’s a chopper rifles pulled out shot my husband with a bean bag. Shoots my brother in law and while 3 officers are on top of him let’s the k9 bite him. I can not believe this. We are law abiding citizens. Just a big family trying to have fun before the kids went back to school. The ranger in the front also told me that the reason this started was because someone spit on the rangers vehicle! Lies!! Shame on you big woman at the gate for lying! We are in the middle of an investigation and will persue this. We all paid up to the weekend too. Traumatizing experience for our family especially the poor kids!! Never ever again! With the amount they charge you would think the restrooms would be clean. Absolutely disgusting!! Fecal matter all over the toilet and...
