Debussy wrote a piano piece with the same name, but in French, it is my mental soundtrack for our dog walk. We see several sets of deer; I'm thankful he is old and sees no need to bark. It's one the few trails in the park that allows a dog. It's when you cross the bridge that the magic of the place engages me. Another trip here was a glorious fall morning where the stream laughed played into our first love of the place. The time with small kids; poking and prodding seeing with fingers, eyes and ears. The last trip with my uncle. And now today it's just me and the dog on a sunny afternoon

Wonderful, Yosemite weekend !!! Cindy working the registration desk at Curry Village went above and beyond to be helpful. Cindy was able to transfer our reservation so we could stay an extra night in the Village instead of having to commute back and forth from The Wawona Hotel. The cabins are great. Very clean, heater works super fast and hot! Most amazing vacation we've had since before the Pandemic.

This bridge was a first stop on our journey to the top of Nevada falls. The water flowing under the bridge was surprisingly clear, probably expected more pollution with all the people passing through. This was also my first encounter of the overly friendly squirrels.

This bridge is a Great bridge. Nobody builds bridges like we build here in America. We build the best bridges don't we!?

Heck, this bridge might have even been built by Great Depression FDR programs!?

Go to Yosemite. Take in the magnificence of it all. Take pictures. Remember it forever.

And PLEASE, pack in pack out....
