I visited the museum today and while the exhibits themselves were very interesting, I was disappointed with the behavior of one staff member. An elderly gentleman working there repeatedly told us not to touch anything, even though we were simply looking, and followed closely behind us reorganizing items as we walked through. This made the experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I understand the importance of protecting the exhibits, but the way it was communicated came across as unnecessarily rude. I hope the museum can address this so that future visitors feel more at ease while enjoying the displays

This was a very nice, small museum with lots of information about early life in the area. Native American tools and early settlers tools. Some cool, logging equipment. Took me about 20-30 mins to look at everything. The man at the front was very informative and easy to talk to. This would be a great stop for people with kids to come take a look and see some of the local history before/after going into the national park.

It’s a small but packed lots of items for you to spend an hour in here! The curator is very knowledgeable about all the items in this tiny museum, and he is very willing to explain anything or everything that you might interested! It is back in time. That for you to understand how the people living their everyday lives in the logging industry at the time! Do come in to discover and enjoy.

Excellent museum. Not huge, but they got a lot of interesting items dating from the earliest inhabitants in the area to the more recent times, though most of it is gym the last 100 years. Even have a few items for sale if you are looking for a souvenir or two. Staff are friendly. Wish I had gotten a picture of operating hours, been there before when the museum is closed so it isn't always open. Restrooms and parking are nearby. Will visit again...
