Great place to go and get away from it all, including all the other over traveled nature parks. This place has it all, from its marshlands to its forest, all complemented by its mixed elevation. Great place to go and get lost(in a good way). This park has a awesome hiking trails with many different paths to choose from on the fly, without having to worry about getting lost. Although I was unable to see any of the wildlife at the time of my visit (which was early winter) it was obvious to see that during Spring/Summer months this place would be overflowing with a large variety of wildlife. This place stays true to its name "Nature park" and should stay that...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise of a park, very nice. There is a covered cookout area with six benches, a charcoal grill, a clearing area for picnics and some restrooms (although these appear temporarily closed). The most pleasant part of the park is an extensive set of trails back in the forest, including a small pond with seating. The pond had turtles, frogs and was a good spot to look for birds. The trail system included several style trails, including bike path quality, mowed paths and rough walking paths. Overall this is a great park, which we plan to return to sometime soon. Nice park for a walk even in the early...
Read moreGreat Park. Good place to just take a walk or ride. Trails are very nice. Views are great. Nice little dock to possibly fish from. Like the nice shorter loops for a quick hike. Has a pavilion, restrooms, water, playground, handicap parking and an information board. I like it because it’s 5 minutes from my house and the dog loves it there. FYI, The entrance sign is blocked by tree branches so you might miss it. Highly recommended park for just everyday use. Thank you...
