Smith Gardens — Attraction in Oakwood

Beautiful public park! The flowers were very colorful and vibrant! I do think this park should require some kind of signage or reservation for people who wish to take up the whole park to have a wedding reception. A group came in after we arrived, interrupted our photo shoot, and then later confronted us saying we ruined their wedding, even though there was zero sign, decor, communication of any kind on their end informing us of the wedding. I took the chance on this garden because I was trying to do a Betty Boop inspired look photoshoot.. and this garden is in a gorgeous location and it's so beautiful. This time of year they have the most beautiful flowers that I've ever seen. Took lots of beautiful pictures there. Go on a give them a visit. And let's not get on the neighborhood that It is in.. So tropical and quiet it reminds me of home Naples FL.. I will definitely visit them again for a more formal...

This is a wonderfully peaceful little garden, with a variety of different flowers and wildlife. Cute park nestled into the neighborhood, great for picnics or little walks. There are benches and areas to sit, a pretty pond and several good photo ops. We saw several baby bunnies that were munching and enjoying some grass, and quite a few chipmunks who were chasing each other around, none of them ran or hid.
