Located in what otherwise appears to be just another Florida suburban neighborhood, the Banyan Road Trailhead is a delightful surprise! This well developed access to the Florida Greenway System provides entry to a network of paved walkways through gently rolling terrain that comprises a mix of forest and meadow environments. People of all ages and abilities can easily enjoy a walk, wheelchair excursion or bike ride here. The network of interconnected and well marked trails allows one to enjoy a long or short experience. Love love LOVE this trail. It's off the beaten path a little, and I've never seen it crowded during the week. Lots beautiful flora and fauna. Our favorites to see are the deer and the Sherman fox squirrels. They have paved and dirt paths, and it intersects with the Florida Trail. People seem to be good about following leash laws for the...

Nice paved walking trail. Beautiful fresh air. There is disc golf in the center. Benches for breaks. I recommend bringing drinks. Certain times of the year Blackberries grow wild all over. The trail also connects to the Greenway park but you better have some energy if you plan on all that. It's a long walk.
