It’s not closer but there are parts washed out. Don’t follow all trails as that section is closed. Just look for the trail sign. Lots of birds but no other wildlife in early March.

Beautiful and buggy. Look out for off leash dogs. Don't to on hot day, lots of sunny parts. Really pretty trail, mostly flat and it was dry....
