This farm looks small from afar but itās well spread out. I love that you can pick flowers, strawberries and blueberries all in one day.
They also sell honey and other flowers. Be sure to check out the retail section at the farm stand where you pay your admission fees before you explore.
Be sure to dress accordingly because the entire farm is on dirt.
There are portable potties available next to the animals and u-pick fields.
Parking: Free parking unless itās an event. When you turn in, skip the first entrance on your left (it says exit only). Drive up past the fence and u-turn into the same lot. There are a few Handicap spaces between the blue cones.
Admission: Walk up to the farm stand to the person with the cash register.
Ranunculus season is coming to an end so it was free to enter but cost if you want to cut flowers.
Strawberry season is in. They are so red, ripped, easy to get to but sadly sour at the moment. $10 for small bucket, $15 for large, those without buckets are $5 entry fee.
Blueberries are starting to be in season. They have 4 types that started blooming since January and throughout the year. U-pick is only on Fridays from 2-5pm because of the limited quantity. They are grown in pots. $6 entry for each person and you get a small container.
Path: Ranunculus are at the very far end.
To get to the strawberry fields, you follow the red fence walk way over the hill. Itās about 5 minutes. Thereās a person there to greet you and hand you a bag after.
Across from the strawberry field is the watermelon field. Thatās not available for u-pick. Next to that is the blueberry area.
Activities: -Certified Farmers Market on Fridays 2-6pm. You can come to pick blueberries and hang out after wards.
-A shaded area with chairs and tables to hang out.
-Animals and giant empty spare tires for kids to hang out.
-Check their socials often as there are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy son participated in the Mellano Farm Stand's Summer Farm Camp last week and he had a blast! This is the first year the camp was offered and so we didn't really know what to expect. The planning and the execution FAR EXCEEDED any expectations we may have had. As soon as we arrived on the first day to check in, the kids were already engaged in decorating their own bags and aprons for the week. Each day they made different art projects (painted canvas, ladybug rock and bird house, made a picture frame, created flower bouquets with flowers they picked themselves etc). They learned about soil and compost, created worm farms to start their own compost, released lady bugs out to the crops and flowers and harvested fruits and vegetables to bring home (strawberries, radishes, beets, carrots, beans, kale etc). The farm stand harvests and packages their own honey and the kids were able to taste different types of honey and learned about how pollinators work. They even taught the kids how to make butter and were able to try it as well! What impressed me even more than ALL of that was one day when my kiddo had a conflict with another kiddo: The camp instructors stepped in and had meaningful and helpful discussions to help understand what happened and talk through managing big emotions and how to handle similar situations in the future. It's not easy to drop your child off for a day camp with all new people that they don't know well, but this showed me that this was more than just a farm stand farm camp, and they genuinely care for and relish in creating a strong community. Thank you Michelle and all of the folks who made this camp possible. We enjoyed learning all of the things this week too and loved seeing the enthusiasm that our son had each day about everything he learned! We can't wait...

Everything was incredibly well organized, making it easy to enjoy all the activities they had to offer. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into planning this event.
The activities were so much fun! I loved the lavender U-pick and the zinnia flower picking. The kidsā area was a hit with bounce houses and face painting, keeping the little ones entertained while the adults explored. The food trucks were fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options that complemented the festive atmosphere perfectly.
The staff at Mellano Farm Stand were absolutely wonderful,( BIG SHOUT OUT TO DELILAH she was so sweet) But honestly every person I interacted with was friendly and helpful, making the experience that much more enjoyable. Their enthusiasm for the farm and the festival was contagious, and it was clear they were dedicated to providing a great experience for everyone.
