Purple Muscadine Juice from Paulk Vineyards - Purchased in April for making jelly. I opened it in September and was very disappointed in the color (brownish purple - I thought the bottle was tinted when I purchased it.) and the taste. It tasted more like prune juice than muscadine juice. The flavor was so poor that I poured it out rather than wasting the sugar in hopes the jelly would taste good. There is no expiration date on the bottle so there's no way to know how old it is. My advice is DO NOT BUY! The response I received from the vineyard was disappointing as well: "Making jelly with the juice should be fine. The purple juice usually does have a bright purple color to it, but of course the oxidation process does occur over time, especially if it's exposed to heat or light. Lots of people have described the taste as similar to a prune juice, which I believe is possibly due to the fact that we do not add any sugar to our juice. Hope it works out for you!" Needless to say, it did not work out for me, but lesson learned. The label should reflect the possibility of the juice tasting like prune juice. If I had wanted a juice that tasted like prunes, I would have bought prune juice not muscadine juice. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I’ve been waiting for months to come here and try all their different wines after I had their Paulk Cabin dessert wine at an orchard in North Georgia. Let me tell you this vineyard did not disappoint, and the wait was totally worth it! The employee that did our wine tasting was awesome and very informative. The wine tastings are $5 a person and they also have a variety of alcoholic wine slushies. My favorite was the pina colada! We had a great time and we were able to explore the vineyard a little bit and we got to take a bottle of my favorite wine with us. We will definitely be back :)

Terrible place. I went for a fall festival. They promised a lot of fun things. However I came an hour after it opened. The bouncy house was not even up correctly. There was no music. No food. No drinks. ONLY wine. Many people just left. But I wanted a wine slushies. It took almost an hour and we were second in line as they mad messed up someone’s online order. The wine slushies wasn’t even good. And the regular slushies were really sour.

Paulk Vineyards is an absolute gem! One of South Georgia’s best kept little secrets. Hospitality is phenomenal and all of their wines are amazing. The tasting room is such a darling place where you can not only find ALL of their wines, but other gifts items as well as delicious slushees! The Cheese board is delicious and pairs great with a full wine tasting. Hugo is my favorite out of all of their wines, but I honestly love all of them. They put their hearts and souls into this place and you can definitely tell. When you are there, you are family! Go check them out and do a tasting- you...
