Where do I even begin...? I believe that Bogle might be one of the best "hidden gems" when it comes to wedding venues in GA/near ATL. My fiance (now wife) and I did extensiveeeeee research on venues in Georgia to the Carolinas to Southern California. Although we had a short engagement (only about 4 months), we spent weeks narrowing down what we wanted, and then we stumbled across Bogle Farm. We set up a tour with the owner Thom who told us he would actually be in Mexico during our wedding weekend, but would still be happy to open his beautiful property to us, and host our wedding. And let me tell you...Bogle is truly amazing. My side of the family is from New Jersey/New York, and my wife's family is from WA State/SoCal, so it was basically a destination wedding for everyone in our family. Bogle was able to accommodate our ENTIRE bridal party on the property. The Groomsmen stayed in the quaint little cabins near the main venue, and the bridesmaids stay in the guest house near the entrance of the farm. This was a game-changer for us, and everyone in the bridal party could not have been more thankful they had a place to stay Thursday PM-Sunday AM. When it came to our wedding day...I'm a thorough planner, as is my wife. We thought through every single detail of our day, and it was even better than we expected. The pavilion was under construction when we did our tour, which made us nervous, but the finished product blew us away. We are glad that we reserved the venue when we did because we believe Bogle could charge MUCH more with how stunning this property is. From our day-of coordinator Gina, to our DJ Chase, catering team at Tulla White, and all of the bogle employees...we left thinking "our wedding was perfect. We wouldn't change a thing." Our guests were posting pictures all over social media because of how breathtaking the landscape was. They were stopping to pet the horses and donkeys, and raving about the picturesque drive around the lake leading up to the venue. Everyone who attended could not stop talking about Bogle, and I can not say enough amazing things about this place. It's so special, that I was telling my wife I wanted to work weddings there to help out Thom when I have free weekends. Bogle Farm is truly a blessing to my wife and I, and if you're ever curious about it, I would strongly encourage you to give it a chance. That Barn in the middle of the woods transforms into a charming, romantic, awe-inspiring wedding venue of your dreams. I'm a tough critic, and had my doubts about Bogle, but after my wedding...I might be the venue's biggest advocate! Thank you Thom & Gail, Gina, and everyone who made our wedding a day we'll...

We were told that we did not have to use their wedding coordinator, Britney, but later learned this would be a penalty against us. She is the point of contact whether you use her as the coordinator or not, super awkward. She did not return calls promptly. The Sunday before the wedding, Britney made a huge issue out of the simplest request, which was quickly resolved with Thom. We rented this venue from Thursday until Sunday. Bogle asked us to contact them 30 minutes prior to our arrival, which we did. We got to the venue and started unpacking and the thermostat was reading 84 degrees. It took several hours to get it to a comfortable temperature, though it never held steady. While we were at the pool area having family time, we were asked if another couple could come through and view the cottages and pool area. We asked them not to, as this felt very intrusive. The day of the wedding the temperature at the venue was not at a decent setting, with people prepping/setting up and having food in the kitchen. While we toured this venue last June, we made it a point to ask if we could have the doors opened and the venue still stay cool. We were advised it would. This is not true. We could not have the doors opened while the air was running. When the bride arrived at the venue, we were asked to park by the cottages by a worker on a golf cart, which is located 100 yards away from the venue, and had to walk to the venue in her wedding dress...
Read moreA wedding is meant to be the best day of someoneâs life. Itâs meant to be as stress free as you can make it and in my honest opinion the owner of this venue and his daughter are not meant to be in this business. The property is stunning and they are nice, but hosting a wedding needs far more than nice. If youâre a wedding venue you have to cater to your bride and groom, you have to meet their requests and not make them feel less than because of them, and most importantly when they do pay the amount to rent not only your venue, but every place on on your property you donât bring potential guests over to view the rooms while theyâre being occupied.
Iâm not one for bad reviews and I would never want to impact someoneâs livelihood, but I also would never want a future bride and groom to have the experiences we did with this venue.
UPDATE- Response to Comment: I am a bridesmaid to Kaitlyn and Josh. I was present when your proceeded to have a tour while they were on the property. And then when they asked for their rooms not to be toured your response was gas lighting them to make them feel less.. the day before their wedding might I add. Not only that, but I actually spoke with you a year or so ago inquiring about using Bogle Farms for my wedding venue. I ended up speaking with your daughter who organized a time for us to talk since I needed a wedding planner. She had kids screaming in the back ground and barely let me speak, it was then that I knew Bogle wasnât the place for me (I get kids, I have one, but when you choose a time to speak about something professional you should respect...
