We had a great time but what I want to bring attention to the staff

From the time we checked in to the time we left we felt like we were treated like kings.

When we arrived at the drop location you were organized. When asked what we rented without hesitation they grabbed the boats and put them in the water. Loaded us and pushed us out.

Later on we stopped at the first bridge for a break and ran into another staff member clearing a path to the river. He took time to explain the bridges and the significance along with a few other facts about the river.

When we arrived at the end of the trip we were greeted by two young men that came out and pulled the canoe and the kayaks up to the shore. They asked us how the trip went and told us to leave all trash in the boat but take out cooler to the top of the hill and look for an Astro van.

The driver greeted us and immediately loaded our cooler and took us to our car.

I have been on many float trips where we would assist loading and unloading the watercraft but not here…it was refreshing.

You folks took care of everything for us and that impressed us beyond words.

We are planning another trip later in the month and drag some of our friends along

I will highly recommend your...

Never come here either as a minority or a beginner. During the "mini" lessons, a young lady in her either late teens or early 20s with braided pigtails constantly kept sighing, rolling her eyes, and kept making faces at kids as young as 4 year Olds during the lesson. Eventually she got to a minority of myself of my color and she acted especially weirder, and she wouldn't hold on to me properly and purposely led me to run into a group of people. Like as if my being disgusts her. Even then it didn't trigger anything until I saw her taking care of another group of people without minorities. Only then she properly taught them without rolling her eyes. This place was not beginner nor minority friendly. The main teacher and the other staffs were amazing, but due to the young girl with pigtails. It completely ruined my experience. Other people in the group like me left early and probably will not come back. We heard the amazing reviews and words of people and came but are sorrowly leaving with disappoint with...

It's a nice small place for people who want learn a sport before going off to a real mountain. But I feel like its time for an upgrade.

Would be nice if there was less ice at times but it's not like they can do more than add more snow. Though I wish they would cut down some trees and add some runs to the back side of the mountain, get some real black diamonds and tree trails. That would be amazing. Maybe ask customers to fill out a survey on weather or not people would be willing to pay more lift ticket fees in exchange for more slopes, lifts, and terrain parks. Also there should really be a minimum age requirement for the terrain park there are too many kids who get in the way who have no clue what their doing. Also id recommend getting a shorter box and half burried pipe for people who want to get into entry level rails. The jump sizes are...

Sevenoaks offers an incredible family-friendly experience that we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel welcome, and Heidi, in particular, went above and beyond to help us feel right at home. The instructors were top-notch—patient, skilled, and encouraging—which made all the difference for my daughter and wife, who were hitting the snow for the first time. They’re absolutely hooked now, and we owe so much of that to the amazing team at Sevenoaks. The place is well-run, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for families. If you’re looking for a fantastic trip with your loved ones, Sevenoaks is a must-visit—check it out! - Don't forget to check out the snow tube. It was a blast.

Where do I start? Our family decided to take up snowboarding as a winter activity in January, and since our kids had never been on a snowboard before, we enrolled them in lessons. From day one, John and Ian went above and beyond, not only teaching them how to snowboard but also instilling a deep respect for the slopes. Thanks to their incredible instruction, patience, and encouragement, our kids have made unbelievable progress in just a few short months. Every lesson builds on the last, and it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come. John and Ian, you are our kids’ heroes! They are forever grateful for the time and dedication you poured into helping them learn and love this sport. Thank you both for everything!

For our Customer Service week at Mediacom, the employees out of the Ames and Carroll offices decided to go paintballing. The Seven Oaks people were very accommodating. We ended up having 23 people playing and they had everything ready and waiting when we got there. The guys that did the safety instructions were very thorough and made sure everyone followed the rules. They had plenty of room up by the paintball field that we set up some boards and played bags while waiting to play after getting out. I've had many ask if we could do it again next year. Thank you for the Great Time!
